Gloucester Council - Waste And Recycling
The amount of waste produced by society grows each year. Most of our rubbish is still disposed of in landfill sites. In Gloucestershire 70% of our waste is still landfilled. This is a waste of materials that could be been reused or recycled in to new, useful products.

Household Recycling Centres
The Household Recycling Centres (HRCs) are available for the public to deposit and recycle their waste every day except Christmas Day. Opening times are 8.00 a.m. to 7.45 p.m during the summer (BST).8.00 a.m. to 4.45 p.m in wintertime (GMT).

The Green Box Collection - What can you put out.Newspapers and magazines-- Glass bottle and jars-- Food and drink cans-- Plastic milk bottles-- Textiles and shoes--You can put all your materials loose in your box - if you require an additional or replacement box, please telephone the recycling team on 01452 396396.
